The Swan was a 17th century coaching inn, it had sawdust on the floor and a bakery. It served simple fare for farm workers who dropped in after a hard day in the fields.
This rural past, its link to Thyme’s farm on the Southrop Manor Estate, the building’s diverse history and its place in the community is at the heart of our village pub.
Now complete with sofas for cosy feasting, the Old Bar for simple merry-making and ‘bar bites’, The Snug for more intimate dining, alongside The Garden Room and Restaurant.

Dating from the 15th century, The Bull is made up of two neighbouring pubs, The Bull and The George, which were later joined together.
The Bull offers both restaurant and private dining spaces and a traditional pub bar, with open fires, and serving local craft beers, spirits and great wines.
Open year-round, The Bull’s 21 bedrooms were designed in partnership with Arkells Brewery’s in-house interior designer, Jo Titchener, who created gorgeous, shabby chic interiors exuding vintage country cool.

Cambrai Lodge was built in 1979 as a small bungalow in the grounds of Cambrai House, and was bought by the current owner ten years later.
At this time he set about changing it into a family home, and then into a Bed & Breakfast and we are still welcoming guests nearly 30 years on.

Ye Olde Swan is situated in a stunning location aside the River Thames at Radcot Bridge, originally an old packhorse bridge on the main wool export route from Northampton to Southampton.
The bridge, which claims to be the oldest crossing of the Thames was built around 1200.
Ye Olde Swan has been a stopping off point for weary shepherds and travellers for hundreds of years to enjoy fine ales and good food.
Nothing has changed, though the sheep have long since disappeared.
