VISIT
Buscot Park is a country house at Buscot near the town of Faringdon in Oxfordshire within the historic boundaries of Berkshire.
The house and estate was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1956. The contents (which include works of art by Rembrandt and Burne-Jones) are owned by the Faringdon Collection Trust.
The house is occupied and managed by the present Lord Faringdon. The mansion and its extensive formal and informal gardens and grounds are open to the public each summer.

Take a walk on the WILD SIDE! Stroll around the Park and get eye-to-eye with giraffes, watch rhinos graze on the Gothic manor house lawns, walk with lemurs or take a ride on Bella the Train (April-Oct).
The stunning gardens and themed borders, make a beautiful backdrop the animals. With over 260 different species of animals in over 120 acres of parkland, there’s plenty of space to relax and get closer to wildlife!
Enjoy lunch in the licensed cafe serving hot food, kiosks with snacks or you can bring a picnic. Car parking is free and you can access your car at any point during your visit.
Dogs are welcome on a short lead under adult control in most areas of the Park, except areas with free-ranging animal areas.

The Air Tattoo returns this summer on 19-21 July 2019 at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. See the rare Spanish Navy Harrier in our 7+ hour flying display, plus lots more to see and do on the ground!
Few events can rival the intensity, drama and spectacle on offer at the world’s greatest airshow, with one of the most diverse flying displays in the world.
This year we’ve got 28 air arms so far confirmed from 20 different nations, which means the Air Tattoo is the best place to see military aircraft on display to the public.

River cruise charters from Lechlade-on-Thames operate on weekdays and weekends from Easter until October 1st on the classic launch Inglesham.
Inglesham is a classic River Thames Launch, purpose-built for skippered charter trips on the Upper River Thames from Lechlade.
The vessel is licensed to carry up to twelve passengers who have exclusive use of the boat. The vessel’s spacious accommodation provides a comfortable and relaxing cruise on this historic river.
The skipper and crew-member on board are able to provide information on the history of the river and the restoration of the Thames and Severn Canal.
