Yes, all our boats are self-drive and have engines.

You do not need experience. We do a handover until you get it, and the speed limit is 4mph.

The boats have a licence – you don’t need one.

We are now open every day until at least September. We do 1/2/4 hour hire and full-day hire as well as short breaks.

The price is per boat, not per person.

Yes, you can bring your dog.

You can bring kids of any age – we offer life jackets.

You can bring a cool box and a picnic.

We have a disabled loo and parking, and grab rails to help get in and out of boats.

If it is pouring all day when you have booked, we will contact you between 7-9am to try to reschedule

For cruisers, the lead passenger must be 21+

For the open-powered boats the skipper needs to be 18+ with ID.

We don’t do big groups, or hen or stag style events, without very special arrangements.

We are not open on an evening/night – the first slots start at 8.45am and the last slot of the day is 3.45/4pm for 1 hour.

Fishing season starts on the 15th June – you can’t fish before then. If over 12, you need an annual rod licence, but you do not need a day ticket to fish from your hire boat.
